Lanequill privacy notice

What Lanequill is for

Lanequill is a personal ten-pin bowling score keeper. It lets you save totals or optional frame rolls, and keep dates, venues, optional series labels and notes with your own games. It does not provide coaching, handicap calculations, team or competition management, score verification, or an official bowling record. A score you enter or select remains your responsibility.

Your games and private iCloud

Lanequill stores your bowling games, totals, optional rolls, dates, venues, series labels and notes on your device. When private iCloud is available and configured for Lanequill, Apple CloudKit can synchronise these records with your own devices. Pragmatiq does not operate a server for bowling records. You can edit or delete games in the app; a deletion synchronises when Apple processes it. CSV files are shared only through an action you choose.

Beta scorecard reader

The optional Beta scorecard reader lets you choose a photo from your library or take one with the camera. It reads the photo on your device to find possible total values. The photo and recognised text are not saved by Lanequill, sent to Pragmatiq, sent to TelemetryDeck, or added to iCloud. The reader does not identify your player row, reconstruct frames, choose a result, or save a game: you review and select a candidate total before using it.

Optional usage analytics

In a version configured with TelemetryDeck, Lanequill uses a small allow-listed set of product interaction, purchase, restore, support, export, scan-outcome and private-iCloud-status events, plus SDK-provided app, device, language, runtime-context and diagnostic information. Analytics can be turned off in the app. Lanequill does not send scores, rolls, photos, recognised text, notes, venues, series labels, dates, record identifiers, CSV contents, support-message text, email addresses, or raw error text to TelemetryDeck. Analytics never controls saving, editing, exporting, purchasing, or synchronising a game.

Support and purchases

A support draft stays locally in the app while you edit it. If you choose Mail, another email app, or copy, the selected service or clipboard handles the message you choose to share; a handoff is not proof of delivery. Support messages are separate from bowling storage and analytics. If Lanequill offers its planned lifetime Pro purchase after launch, Apple and the App Store handle payment, purchase, and restore processing.

This website

This static website is hosted on Cloudflare. It has no contact form, browser analytics, account system, or app-data database. Cloudflare may process request data such as IP address, browser information, and request logs to deliver and protect the site under its own terms.
